Belle Boyd Chapter I

About the Order of Confederate Rose.....

The OCR is nonprofit, nonracial, nonpolitical and nonsectarian.  The OCR assists the SCV (Sons of Confederate Veterans) with their historical, educational, benevolent and social functions.  Special emphasis is placed on the preservation of Confederate symbols.  There are few rules and restrictions to stifle the creativity of its members. Each OCR Chapter is free to focus on the activities important to its local SCV  Camp along with supporting their efforts on the state and national levels.

As members of the Belle Boyd Illinois Chapter of the OCR we are dedicated to preserving, through means of education and accurate historical representations, the vital significance and importance of women's roles during the Civil War. We also have Black Rose Society Members available for memorials.

Our Chapter mourns the loss of our Chapter Founder and President, Miss Judith Esarove who went to be with the Lord on Saturday February 13, 2010.
Her memory will live in our hearts forever.

Miss Judith photographed with her husband Lee at our OCR Tea Party in the Summer of 2007.
Please keep the Esarove Family in your prayers.
